General information on Tiger Mountain Lodge

Tiger Mountain Lodge was established by Marcus Cotton, still one of the pioneers of sustainable tourism in Nepal. With an eye for every small detail, he created this property that soon got a reputation as one of the best hotels in Nepal.

With only 18 comfortable rooms, all in cottage-style, it offers extreme privacy. All rooms have balconies with views on either the Valley or the Annapurna. 

Most of the food served in the lodge is grown organically in the gardens of the property. A dedicated kitchen team serves local Nepali specialities as well as continental dishes.

Local villagers are trained and employed to take care of the guests and of the gardens. They can also take you out for walks in the neighbouring villages and along the terraced fields to get to know the local way-of-life. The area around the lodge is wellknown for birdwatching and for spotting butterflies.

Personal yoga- and meditationsessions can be arranged, as well as massage treatments in the comfort of your own room.
